Community Activist/Peacemaker
For over 30 years I have been fighting for my community and for communities around the United
States. Growing up in the Jordan Downs Housing projects, seeing and experiencing the social and
economic injustice that plagued our people, and watching the violence and crime increase in my
neighborhood, I was compelled to do something about it and be a solution instead of a problem to
the issues that ensnared us. I became an Activist and a Peacemaker to bring change to my
neighborhood first, and then spread it around the world.
Crusader
As a Crusader, I made it my mission to teach others the value of self-worth and community pride.
Rather than gang-bang and be a negative influence on our communities and families, we could be
positive role models and give back to our community and establish a legacy for our children that is
beneficial to their future. As a Crusader I put on my cape to help save the future of our children and
pave the way for generations to come.
Liberator
Life comes with challenges, how we deal with it can be a challenge within itself. We have to move
pass the past, and work the present for the future. We have to break free from what we “know” is
holding us back, and get rid of what we “think” is holding us back. We can only do that by changing
our mindset, changing our environment, and improving ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally,
and spiritually. We must take action and liberate ourselves, then help liberate others. I am a
Liberator.
